How to hide UI Canvas without deactivating object? - Questions & Answers - Unity Discussions

How could I hide UI Canvas without actually disabling canvas component and not deactivating gameObject? If I deactivate canvas component and turn it on later, it looks messed up and not as before, and thus I avoid this method (Unless you know what I exactly mean and know how to fix it)

I have over 2000 DrawCalls for 40 units in my game, looking for answers to optimize this (very low FPS) : r/Unity3D
