What does engine evaluation setting do in live settings? - Chess Forums

Hi all. Perhaps someone knows what the following setting does. It is the "engine analysis" setting toggle switch in live settings. See below. I have highlighted it. What does it do or switch on? I switched it on and saw no change to anything.
