One man dead after car falls 200 feet off Trinidad cliff – Times

The men have not been identified and the California Highway Patrol has not determined why the car went over the embankment on Scenic Drive near Baker Ranch Road in Trinidad. The driver of the 2003 Toyota Camry was pronounced dead on the scene and the passenger was taken to a nearby hospital after the car fell roughly 200 feet down the cliffside, coming to a rest upside-down on the beach.
