The King’s English Bookshop in Salt Lake City closed Sunday after it received a bomb threat over a drag queen story hour. The Utah Department of Public Safety says 2023 is a record year for hate crimes against LGBTQ people in Utah.
So far in 2023 there have been more hate crimes reported against LGBTQ people in Utah than the previous four years combined
