Kirby and the Forgotten Land transporta com sucesso a já divertida mistura de combate baseado em habilidades, plataformas e caça da série para o 3D. O cenário pós-apocalíptico pode não ser tão tematicamente interessante quanto Planet Popstar, mas ainda é adorável e vibrante, com níveis inteligentemente projetados que fazem uso consistente das habilidades de Kirby. Apesar da mudança de perspectiva, Forgotten Land mantém a maior parte do que eu amo nos jogos clássicos – e se o futuro trouxer mais aventuras em 3D para nosso faminto herói rosa, eu ficaria mais do que feliz em engoli-las.
