Four hurt in crash that pushed car partially into canal in Fresno

Four people are hurt after a car crash that sent a driver part-way into an irrigation canal in Fresno. The California Highway Patrol says a driver of a Chevy Impala headed south on Monroe ran through a stop sign at Belmont. At the same time, the driver of a Chevy Malibu that didn't have a stop sign on their side went through the intersection as well. The Malibu slammed straight into the side of the Impala, crushing in the driver's side door.
