Older fans have fallen on the too oft repeated adage "Sure it's a good game, but it's not a good Assassin's Creed game." Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a showcase of lessons learned from Origins and Odyssey, streamlining the game loops, map layout and systems in a way that finally feels more like an organic adventure rather than a never-ending checklist.
